ok, i have done a search for this one and found only 1 reference to mongoose and none for Powerchips.
What do you guys know about the both of them?
Is mongoose any good and will a superchip blow my engine up again (ive already been through 2 catalytic converters in 2 months, thank god for warranties!)
The web site doesnt give much away but its still being built  m http://www.mongooseexhausts.com/ m

I can't comment on Mongoose exhausts, other that IMO they are aimed at the Nova boys / Max Power crowd, but that's not to say they are no good  s:wink:  s:wink:

Powerchips on the other hand are a bit of a half arsed approach I think. They do liberate a few horsepower, but not enough to really mean much, but they are pretty cheap I suppose. If you want a power increase through chipping then look into the Dastek Unichip (plenty of info here if you search), as this yields good results and can be setup according to your car and mods.

Every engine is different which bolt on chips do not take into account.  Get a mappable one like a Unichip and get it set up by someone reputable on a rolling road.

Topic split. See here  m http://www.mr2roc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5827 m  for the unfortunate engine problems.
