TRD fog light upgrade

Hi guys. I'm wondering if any of you have installed the TRD fog lights onto the grill of an '01. There's a tutorial for this procedure at spydermagazine.com but it's pretty sketchy. I'm wondering if there are alternate methods, known issues, or tips from those in the know. Anybody raises their hand, I might be sending 'em panicked e-mail in a week when I get started. Wiring is so not my bag - but I really want those lights on there. Thanks.

SilverMSD2 has his on the bumper with the cutouts/garnish, like myself. Then again, the wiring is the same, if that's the issue...

BTW, it's a genuine Toyota part, not TRD! It's only marketed by TRD in US.

Yes, i have the Toyota part fitted in to my front bumper / body panel. This was all done by a professional car modding garage because, as has been mentioned, my technical skills are on the minus scale   s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

Many thanks, Silver - this is exactly the info I was looking for. I'm scheduling at least a week to get this job done, since so much dismantling is required. Unbelievable amount of labor to get two wires hooked up, no?

What annoyed me was that a genuine toyota part came with moulded plugs but the UK 2 didn't  s:!: :!: s:!:
