Hi everyone!  s:D :D s:D

After months of reading the forum i decided to register once i got my MR2, so here i am!

Bought my MR2 (01) roadster about a month ago. Its got 22000 miles on it and its silver with red leather so im really happy with it! In fact i love it to bits as previously only owned a KA and then a Yaris, which i still have by the way, as im a bit scared driving the MR2 when its wet and icy.  s:? :? s:?

However, as with the Yaris im eager to get modifying and i already have the bug.  I just put the MR2 in at Envy Performance to get the Varis bodykit on it, its really braking the bank but with the christmas money i got, its kinda making it a bit easier on the purse strings!. When i seen the kit i had to have it, so if i cant go out on the toon for a while then so be it! Im sure the sacrafice will be worth it in the end.

Ive also got rid of the MR2's standard wheels and got some Konigs on it with some brand new goodyear tyres. I cant wait to get it back!

So my first questions are:

1- What springs does everybody use if i choose to lower it?

2- The next mod is going to be a twin exhaust? Does anyone have any favourites? I need resonably priced exhaust that will also fit on well as ive had my fair share of knocking! Has anyone seen any second hand ones?

Any help would be much appreciated, i know im asking alot but cause im new i hope you will bare with me!

Thanks  s:D :D s:D

Hello!

1) Eibach or TTE springs, apparently they're the same, just rebadged.

2) Exhaust:  m http://www.mr2roc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5946 m

Hi Linz and welcome along!!    s:) :) s:)

Hope that Envy is giving you the club discount for the work that you are having done!  s:wink:  s:wink:   Are you going for the wide body kit?

If you use the search and put in lowering and springs there has been much discussion in the past about them, but as Odub says its really just between the two.

Hope that you enjoy your time on here, glad to see more girlies joining..at last!

Hi, I am going for the standard body kit which is a bit more subtle. I liked the widebody kit but my budget just would not stretch that far.  s:cry:  s:cry:

I will ask the guys at Envy about the discount when I go down tomorrow. They have just about finished the mod's so I am starting to get really excited!

Has anyone tried the Tein springs? Kevin at Envy mentioned these as an option along with the Eibach springs, decisions, decisions!  s:? :? s:?

I will look into the exhaust on ebay, although it may have come a little soon as my credit card has taken hammering. I guess it depends what the final bill works out at tomorrow.

Thanks

Linz
