Hi all.
My mr2 has a 2zz, it was like this when I got it.
The previous owner said the manifold was cut and shut?

Is this a 1zz manifold adapted for the 2zz?
Or the 2zz manifold cut and shut do fit the mr2?

Celica 1zz manifold I think.

It's 2zz mated to mr2.
I think What they've done is use 2zz header with an inch or so of pipe left , and joined it to the 1zz precats (also cut off leaving stubs) with sections welded in between.

Thank you for the replies...

Does anyone else use this on a 2zz?
Any disadvantages? Should I look in to getting something else?

Would this fit? Probably not, but can it be adapted to fit? Going to the states soon so could bring it from there...

Looks like a copy of the stock 2zz manifold which won't fit. Could be modified as you suggest, but you might as well just get a Toyota one over here for less money.

If you're in the states, I'd go for a ddpr or ppe manifold. Otherwise I'd just go for a modified Toyota one. Rogue Motorsport have started selling these now on an exchange basis.

Quite a few threads on here about the various options. Worth having a read.

Hope this helps

Any idea how much Rogue charge? The website is not great and mainly in French when I try searching for parts.

It's all on their Facebook page. This link should work:

£300+vat for the manifold and £300+vat for the cat/downpipe.

Nicely done. That's the ticket.
While you're in there, port the headers a bit at the flange. I remember from another thread that they're a bit of a mess from factory
