Turbo kits

Hi,

Looking into fitting a turbo to my mr-s.
Is there a kit to plug and play supplied in this country?
Been looking at the kits over the pond but the emissions seem to be a problem over here.

Any help appreciated.

Not sure if whifbitz still offer their kit dont think anyone else does them anymore in the UK.
Secondhand kits come up for sale now and again. TTE SP HASS APEXI.
You could put the bits together yourself.
Do you have a budget in mind?

Whifbitz has stopped producing their turbo kit until they can find a new supplier to fabricate the manifolds.

As far as I know there is no manufacturer of turbo kits for the MR2 Roadster in the UK so your options are to either import ($$$$) or build your own kit from available parts

Monkeywrenching kits have no catalytic converter( some states its ok to drive without one, ok for track).                    
Whifbits as you state have stopped, next for me i will try black label.

I would prefer a kit rather than collect the parts. Looking for around 220bhp.
Budget around 4k.

Been here before! Then I bought a turbo car.

I can tell you that Whifbits do not supply a turbo kit.

I did collect a few turbo parts before buying my car, should you wish. As I will not be needing these parts.

So you're new purchases are basically turbokits.com (Black label) or monkeywrench, or you can still buy power enterprise kits from some sites.

However, you could contact Se7en motorsports and ask about their Rotrex kits? They supply them for the celica - but pretty sure they'd turn their hands to the MR2.

It would be an easy an inexpensive job to add a 200 cel cat.

This appear to be a basic kit as it does not appear to include any piggy back / standalone ecu, I don't see larger injectors and there is no intercooler / charger cooler.

For the cost of this I think you would be able to get a second hand kit which has been tried and tested with ECU or collect the part yourself. Then ask a motorsport company to manufacture the inlet and exhaust pipes.

Just so you know the PE turbokit is now available to special order from PE japan, you will need to contact them directly

Someone on Spyderchat is offering a PE kit with intercooler and Greddy Emanage Ultimate. At a good price also.

DDPR also offers a kit. However it's probably the most expensive.

Probably cheaper to just get the parts yourself and bolt it together rather than a kit.
