I was in Mr-T the other day and a mecahnic suggested having an amp near a tracker is a bad idea - any ideas why?

Electrical interference?

I'm not sure how standard Tracker systems work, I have a GPS based one so I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

The magnetic fields from the amplifier could interfere with the tracker.  It depends on the frequency the tracker works at and any delicate circuits within the tracker subjected to the magnetic fields.   s:wink:  s:wink:
