Hardtop Same For PFL & FL?

Hi all,

I had assumed that all hardtops would fit all MR2s (mk3 obviously!) regardless of year it was made.

Can someone confirm this is correct?

I'm on the hunt for one in the near future and it suddenly dawned on me whether FL had changed the connections or something.

Exactly the same fittings and design.
Only difference is the FL and PFL Silver shades.

Quite a few come up on here and if you can't get one the same as the car colour then black works well with all colours.  Remember, you'll also need the fitting kit and to cut a couple of your plastics to fit the bits.  If this is a problem I'm sure a friendly member close to you will help out   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:    Alternatively, you could get lucky & find a car complete with hard top, but if not, don't worry about getting one afterwards.   s:D s:D

Great thanks everyone! Very reassuring. I'll be looking for black as I think that'll go with all, plus will probably be easier to sell on once I've got a drive and don't need it any more.

Its the same, picked up a pre facelift hardtop and fitted it to my facelift car over the weekend, side plastics were easy to remove as were the rear covers.
