hi everybody,
had my first day out topless for months, filled her up with optimax, then drove around cotswolds in the sunshine for hours, ultra fun,

Never stop loving the car for the exact reason i bought her, smiling loads.

I was really tempted to take the HT off yesterday due to the lovely sunny weather, but when I got up this morning and found a really thick layer of frost on the car (including frost INSIDE the windscreen!) I was glad I didn't.

Today I was really tempted to take the HT off due to the lovely sunny weather, but... didn't  s:lol:  s:lol:

You poor guys.  I have pollen on my car.  Winter, such as it was, is over in Florida.

Hi Guys,

Took mine off yesterday and wash the poor thing after being left on her own for a week, then went for a blast over to Meadowhall today - Oh I'd forgotten how great it is to drive topless.....

I seemed to be the only one today - all the MGF's , Z4's and Boxsters where all top up !!! oh dear !!! but I was lovely and warm..... Cool !

anyway - just thought I'd share that - plus it's much easier to clean with the hardtop off  :-) :-) :-)

Cheers

I'll take seasons over tropical weather any day. Tropics bore me sensless, same plants, animals, temprture, I love winter as much as summer maybe more, walking in the hills or woods on frosty sunny mornings, is unbeatable, being sat in with the fire on, or in the pub, the way all the rain means everything and everywhere is always green , I love the beauty of spring and the excitement of wildlife as it aproches. I'll take an ever changing landscape over one thats perminantly the same, any day. Your whole life can pass you by, seasons remind you that your alive.   - England buzz's in the spring and summer, people letting tractors out in front of them on the way to work, bluebells, dafadils, tree's waking up, smell of cut grass in the air. standing in victoria wine to cool down because its the only place  with air con, lol.  visiting stately homes, and walking in the lakes. Ive traveled widely and wouldnt live anywhere else. Whilst europe freezes solid, we stay green and lush and mild. This country has always inspired people and the weather is a national obsession and a integral part of the culture.

Thats my waffle for the month,- my spelling taken a turn for the worse.
Im going topless at the weekend for the first time, ooooo

Excellent post, Dave (Slidey Mc ...).  Don't get me started on missing New England.  One can always visit, though, and I do once or twice a year.  Living in a tropical climate lulls you into a sense of time passing more slowly and of things being less urgent.  My wife chides me for going on and on about the trees, hills, mountains, lakes, wildflowers, and old (by our standards) architecture of the Northeast.  When I see pollen on my car in February I say to myself, "that's just not right".  I'm getting primed to do my yearly business travel to all four corners of the US.  Cheers.

Dave, Ditto on Beanie's comments, all you say is soooo true, the grass is not always gereener just cos the sun is always shining !

I've been living here in Asia for 15 years and the only thing I don't miss is the grey drizzle days !

Walking out first thing in the morning for the first time and breathing in that cool, crisp, clean air is sooo invigorating and something I can only do by sticking my head in the freezer !
