Blue injectors in 1ZZ-FED

Hello guys

Did anyone tried newer blue injectors for 1ZZ-FE, and had any performance increase?

I figured out that part number is 23250-22080.

Don't think it will make a difference as the stock ECU will adjust the fuel trims to the injectors, just run injector cleaner through it and clean the MAF etc.

Looks like these are new generation if injectors Denso UC (hole taperet) .
These should provide some minimal benefit in MPG, and engine should be more responisve.

I already have one set and will assembly it in March probably.

I'm pretty sure the stock 1zz injectors are already 12-hole.
So I can't imagine they would offer any benefit at all.
As said above, if they deliver more fuel then the ecu will just reduce the duty cycle based on the o2 readings. So you end up with the same output.

If new ones are cheaper than getting your stock injectors cleaned (75ish) then it will be beneficial in the fact that they're cleaner. Otherwise, seems like a waste of effort. Run a few bottles of injector cleaner through and run good fuel like vpower with cleansing agents in. Sorted.

Yes, old injectors are 12 holes. It's all about droplet size.
I bought blue ones refubrished, so it was cheap.

All a moot point as you've got them! Haha.
Upside is, it can only lead to good things putting fresher injectors in. Even if they were exactly the same.

Check first post for diffrence. There are photos. There is a diffrence in holes placement.
Fuel spray should ignite better. So I expect engine to run more smoothly.
Maybe reaction of engine will be a little better.

I will post some photos on March when I will replace injectors.

So I installed new injectors and looks like one is faulty (P0302 code) :/   Chineese quality :/

Anyway photos below for comparision. Take a look at nozzle placement.

Tommorow I will switch back to green ones, and I need to wait for RMA and I hope 'new' injector.

So finally I installed blue injectors.
Engine looks like running more smoothly on idle.
I didn't notice any power increase as expected, but also I didn't notice any better throttle response and this was disappointing. Maybe driving car with stable speed 140km/h on highway was not best test.
Mpg still to be checked.
