Finally taken my hardtop off and stored it away.

Which way round is the hardtop meant to sit on the trolley?

Is it rear window at the bottom or other way round?

Thanks

Jason

I've always put mine with the glass window at the bottom.  But it's never been on a trolley.

I always put mine on the trolley with the rear window at the bottom - when we first got the trolley we tried both ways and it didn't seem to support the top properly the other way round.

ALWAYS glass at the bottom - the other way round will damage the top as it isn't designed to support the weight.

Ta folks, luckily I had put the glass at the bottom.

Now got to get used to the poorer visibility and increased vibration - role on Corky's anti flex plate.

Thanks

If I haven't got the hard top trolley, how else could I have it sit? Could I simply have it up against the wall with the window to the bottom? Anyone else tried this?

I kept mine like this for 12 months before I got a trolley and it was fine. If you don't have the proper cover then put a sheet or similar over it to pretoct from dust and scratches, and put some bubble wrap or something else soft on the floor where the edge sits to cushion it.

Thanks slacey.....

I did think of the bubble wrap on the floor, but wasn't sure if the top would mis shape because of how it was being supported. I may try and tie it to the wall for extra peace of mind.

I've wrapped mine up in bubble wrap and put it against the wall with a thick bubble wrap pad under the bottom back edge. Seems ok, suppose I'll find out come autumn!

I hear these are very good - there's a small part of me that wishes I had bought one, but there's always something else to spend my cash on first.
