Hello,
I have seen some on going turbo conversions and wanted to ask for a shopping list for w2a. Also any links and ebay sellers would be appreciated!

Bosch chargecooler pump go for the brush less. It's more expensive but may never brake. They're used as OEM a lot.
Everything else is personal choice fiat Cinquecento rad has been used a few times.
eBay coolers seem to work ok.
It will work much better than an air-air intercooler in a mid engine application IMHO.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

As above Bosche charge cooler, I picked up a second hand one from a range rover sport for £50, but have also ordered aa spare for £90 from GSF.

Fiat rad for me, you'll need a few 19mm couplers and I used 2 x 19mm to25mm silicone joiners.

then went for 19mm (inner diameter) straight radiator pipe, I used exactly 6 meters of the stuff and it was tight!

Ebay charge cooler for me like Spyderlee.

Don't forget a header tank too, I had to use a few AN adaptors and fitting to get the 19mm pipe to fit.

now bear in mind i'm trying to buy / build / have the cheapest 200bhp turbo in the world ever i've thought about an intercooler where the rear number plate is, shielded from the exhaust with the aircon re pied into that area!! Also bear in mind I do think well outside the box and it doesn't always work!!

Alternatively i'm with the above - eBay cooler, Bosch pump, Fiat Rad

The MWR kits seem to run the intercooler rear mounted:

shnazzle

Go a2w.
a2a just doesn't cut it at anything higher than 6 or 7ps depending on size of turbo.

@dan944 put his large intercooler where MWR put it and he still battled with intake temps. Despite a turbo blanket, shielding, wrapping a large sump and big front radiator.

Just go a2w :)
...neutiquam erro.

Can we debunk the myth that is MWR please do we really believe their power figures especially on stock engines and gearboxes.

I'm so glad I went for a charge cooler in the end.

The engine bay can be super hot and you put your hand on the charge cooler core and its actually cold to touch!

I've always been dubious about rear mount intercoolers getting the correct about of air flow, but a few seem to have done it on here successfully.

Im thinking frozenboost but idk, can you give me a link to your pump and cooler that you are using?

Flat mount or rear mount won't work, go with air to water, would say you could run a top mount but I don't thnk space allows.

@Gaz2405 Can you give me a link to the pump you are using? When I look for bosch pumps there are quite a lot of them ranging from 40 to 100 quids. Which one should I buy?

If anybody else can chime in for the pump it would be great as any help is appreciated.

The other parts are already here, 600 hp charge cooler and fiat rad :)

@Nvy Try this one, can't find the exact one on ebay that I've got.

But I'm pretty sure they'll all be the same, just make sure you mount it low down in the system they can be a pain in the rear to bleed up.

Cheers

I would recommend the brushless variant.
More expensive but less likely to give up on you.
Bit noisy but you can always fit a louder exhaust.

Ooooohh like the look of that one, might potentially use that in line with mine as well.

Any excuse for a louder exhaust!
