RRR @Greg rrr has just posted about a company that provides stronger 3rd and 4th gears.
Not sure how they compare to Jubu but worth a look see? @m1tch

Those are the SSC gears, MWR sell them over in the states so good to know you can get them in the UK, as far as I know they have the same rating as the JUBU gears - think JUBU are from Germany, SSC are from Australia.

Torque rating on them are at around 295ft/lbs but a lot run fine at 320ft/lbs - have heard some being run at 370 ft/lbs on track.

What are the prices like compared to Jubu?
Not that I'm going to get them haha.

Hanger 111 (lotus parts) sell them, £832 ex VAT so around a grand - coupled with the extra cost to fit them.

Surely the EB60 in the posts below is a cheaper option? I would have thought anything used in a 2.2 diesel turbo should be plenty strong enough? I'm sure Patrick Chambers has done an EB60 conversion for a ZZW30.

It would be close, but you'd have to fit an lsd to the EB/EA6x.

I'm on the fence for both options.

Also if you're planning to track the car consider some gearbox cooling because large and wider cogs will produce considerably more heat as a coefficient of increased friction.

Thats the EA box your thinking of.
Superstrong, but not suited for a sportscar, my Auris does 60mph on 2000rpm...
And over 60kg without LSD
