Hi all!
I was just wondering if there is anything I should watch out for when starting to use a 2 again. As I have been unable to drive for nearly 7months due to a non-car related accident. During which time shes been sitting in a garage doing nothing!! have any of you experienced problems after long disuse?

The obvious one - a flat battery, and you may find that the fuel has gone off a bit -  if the tank isn't full then put some fresh gas in as soon as you can. Check the condition and pressure of the tyres, and have a quick look at the oil, this may have some moisture in it but it shouldn't be a problem if garaged, also possible are the brakes seizing on.

As Slacey said, check all the fluids.

Take it careful for the first few miles.  The tyres are probably not round anymore and will take a little time to settle back into shape, the brakes will be a bit rubbish and the engine might be a little rough for a mile or two and smell a little.

Also, check for furry critters making a home in your engine bay  s;-) ;-) s;-)
