Hello all,

So I've been told by "her in pyjamas" that the cars clutch has started slipping...I suspect its been doing it for a while. ::)

Before I start pulling it apart, is there anything to catch me out? seals/ weak points etc

Luckily lots of the surrounding items have been removed/ replaced in the last 5 years so not counting on much that's stuck..

My supplier doesn't list a replacement clutch fork, just the 3 piece clutch.

Any thoughts would be grateful

LUK cluthes work very well. Nice and smooth.

I have changed a clutch this summer using this guide (https://www.mr2roc.org/index.php?topic=61540.0) and everything went relatively smooth.

The only other thing I changed except the clutch was the drive shaft seals. I did not plan to change them but did buy them ahead of time just in case ... and it was a great idea as I ended up damaging a seal when taking the driveshafts out of the gearbox.

Having an (slim ideally) impact wrench with impact rated attachments is a must I'd say.

Good luck.
