Guys I need some help

I have an awful grating/rattling type noise when I drive in gear at low load / coasting – it disappears if I slip it into neutral.
Does this mean I need a new box? If so any advice on sourcing and changing the 2's box would be gratefully received.
If it's not the box any ideas as to what it could be? (I have no power loss or adverse issues apart from the noise)

thx

You could try Redline MT90, mine went away with that and I haven't worried about it since.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Im haviung a very similar problem to this and would prefer to go down the route of buying some redline rather than a new gearbox. However, not being to experienced with the enginebay of my car, i havent got a clue where the filling point is on the gearbox! any help appreciated!

When I had my problem the other day about my engine dieing. I asked the RAC guy "How do you know if the gear box it about to die" He replied the "clutch petal will shake also the the will be noises from the engine section when changing into ever year no matter what speed your at.

Hope this helps you...

true on the noise bit, but due to the layout of our clutch, Hydraulic and with really squishy rubber bushes in it, you may not have any feeling
