soft top lips when down

when i open my top, the corners of the hood sort of stick out slightly and bend up, just been looking at some pics hear and they seem to be tooked away and seem more spacious in the back.. have they made the back bit bigger? in newer models

I had that problem for weeks when the car was new.  Turned out I was being too cautious when putting the roof down and was manually pulling the two little corners of the roof out as it went down (against the elastic that wanted to tuck them in) because I didn't want them to fold in and crease!    s:oops: :oops: s:oops:  

Now I just flick it over my shoulder and let it sort itself out.    s:D s:D

followed the links in the diagrams and all ok now,

just 1 end of the strap came off. the only thing is, it seems to be more difficult to open the roof now. i.e. stiffer... mind you i do open and close sitting in my car.
