Staying on ROC isn't going to help your cause either. Just give in and come back.

Mucho mulah manifold!
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

When you look at the full details, it isn't too bad.

The Che / ebay one isn't an option for me.

The MWR ones has two O2 sensor bungs which aren't needed so need plugging or welding and comes in around £300 ish

Ddpr is $500 plus $250 shipping! Plus tax.

Ppe is mega bucks and you also have to buy a mid pipe.

So £460 and supporting UK manufacturing etc isn't all that bad. Plus his quality is renowned.

I was thinking about the MWR one but I knew deep down I'll always regret not getting the zero.

There isn't a cheap option, really.  Unfortunately  s:( :( s:(

No criticism mate.
It is what i would have if i was you.
The better that 2zz flows the better.

I've had a free evening tonight so spent a few hours in the garage.

Mounted the Powervamp battery in the Frunk (not as smaller job as it sounds)!

Sorry for the dark photos the light is just rearward of the bonnet so when its up, it blocks alot of light out! Really need to sort that out.

I then made a bit of progress with the centre console...I know what you're thinking....STILL haven't finished that?!

This time wiring; 12v cig outlet (taken direct from the factory cig lighter connections) and the USB wired to the same circuit, all working nicely.

The I grabbed the sensors for the gauge and tried it all out. I'm really pleased with the gauge; it looks really good.

I'm just waiting for my battery cable to arrive so I can wire up the battery and kill switch (also need to work out what wire is for ignition from the barrel)

Finally, I've taken the decision to not run the car again untill it is 2zz powered later this year.

Before then, I'll get the stock exhaust system back on and get it MOT'd around May/June time, then take the engine out ready for the swap!

Unless the Zero manifold is a copy of the PPE 4-1 you may as well just get a £120 ebay one. If you've ever seen what a Corolla / Celica 2ZZ manifold and downpipe looks like, you'll know why.

I wouldn't have an ebay one, but thanks for the suggestion

Tell me I am being daft, but isn't there a chance in heavy rain/puddles that it can soak the battery?

You aren't being daft, but it doesn't tend to get that wet under there. Even if it does, not really that bothered

Battery cabling has arrive so I can get the battery installed in the Frunk now.

Opted to have it professionally made rather than messing with crimps myself  s:) :) s:)

The Che / ebay one isn't an option for me.

Not that I'll be buying any more for my MR2 until the wedding, but just wondering what's wrong with the che one, and why the zero is better?

Great thread by the way

I think the zero one is a constant diameter where the che isnt.

I relocated battery to front, used 34Ah battery, but found 22 mm2 section cable too thin, tha car had problems starting. Then I added another 30 mm2 wire (together 52 mm2) and car starts just fine. The lenght of the cable was about 4,3m
