If you look at Scotte's photo you will see two metal bars running from near the front of the car back towards the centre brace, they are just inside of the suspension mounts. On the FL they added two horizontal bars the join the two existing longitudinal ones.

Just topped up the V6.
26 mpg.
Only 216 miles covered and 90 of those were on the m25/11.
Worst turbo mpg was 27 even on the Highland drive i was getting 30mpg.

No but imagine how bad mpg would be with a supercharger and supra injectors.  s:( :( s:(

Might be worth getting it on a dyno to see what the AFR is
I'd be getting a decent FPR if it hasn't already got one and I'd replace the fuel pump

Might see half decent mpg then

She does smell rich but the car is new to me.
Want her on a dyno anyway.

Tomos did question the mapping at the sale.
Did he give you both ecu's?
If so, now the throttle body is cleaned, is it worth trying the other ECU?

Anything is worth a try but i think its a long shot.

Will it still diagnose in the same way? i.e. OBD2

Just wondering if it would throw up an error and still give you a light.

Your jag must weigh 1500kg even with the V6 the MR2  cant be more than 1100

Depends what style of driving you have been doing but when both my afr sensors failed I was getting at worst 20 and you could smell the unburnt fuel behind me.

I wouldnt expect to drop below 28 now though but dont normally bother working it out so that is a bit of a guess. My fuel light came on at about 260  on the last tank.

I think closer to 2 ton, but yes 24 does seem a bit on the low side. Surely it can only be a case of o2/afr sensors or poor maintenance? It's not poor maintenance.. So surely there must be a mechanical/electrical issue somewhere?

Could be 02 sensors.
I cant make my obd2 scanner work perhaps it doesnt with the V6 swap.
