Anyone have any suggestions where I could try and obtain a set of the JDM steel wheels that were fitted to the base model?

I'm guessing they were 15".

A quick search on Ebay shows a few Toyota steels available. I'm not sure about any of the genuine JDM ones or what they're specs would be.

Here are some aftermarket ones in the roadsters standard ET45, they may be a little narrow, at 5.5J.

Thanks for link.

The JDM ones have a very distinctive design, which is the appeal.

The early model mx5 had similar wheels. There's bound to be some around on ebay or check their forum. Plus the fitment is 4x 100 so no problems to fit.
1MZFE, Emerald ECU, LSD, BC coilovers, custom middle & front under brace, F / R strut brace. Slotted discs & yellow pads, Blue flame exhaust.
Carrera leather seats, Davids bars, Focal subwoofer & voce speakers & bling !
TRD Stage 2 F & R spoilers,  Haltezza bonnet, C1 side vents, JDL rear panel

Check out Renault Megane Mk2 or Scenic 4x100 steels.
I have just picked up four from ebay for £120 delivered.
16" 6.5J et49

15" 5.5J et49 also available and cheaper

You will need spigot rings 54.1 to 60.1 to fit (£9 for 4 delivered in stainless)

16" wheels are around 18lbs each as standard.

Pondering whether to have them banded (without stretched tyres though) with centre knock off for the old 60''s style Dunlop wheels.  s8) 8) s8)

Love the idea of the knock off centres  s:D :D s:D  proper retro racer!

Perhaps also check out the Caterham 160 as that has steel wheels in 4x100 - would be light weight if they are on a caterham!

Interesting thought, but the holes on the Renault wheels are a bit 'ordinary' for me; the Toyota steel wheels have more than hint of Alfa about them.

I'm on a bit of a retro trip; I'm looking to have my windscreen surround painted silver, or wrapped with a chrome film.
