Daiper dropped at the back, head in the engine. Think I got all the buggers from below, and above. Picking gaskets up Wednesday. Will put suede gardening gloves in the car to protect my hands whilst gutting.  s:wink: :wink: s:wink:

Just bought one in Poland the weekend on our engineers tour for one of the blokes to wear. The girls went wild (hey Liz  s:wink: :wink: s:wink:  )

I'll be driving to the meet-up with my Irish reg car and my Irish license.

I would, of course, never knowingly break the speed limit.  s:wink: :wink: s:wink:  

But if I were to run afoul of the UK's finest, what exactly would I risk?

The UK are discussing now how they get hold of foreign plate information for camera captures. At present, as Mark says, you are home free as far as they are concerned.

Might be a bit different though if you are caught by a "proper" policeman, but there are less of those around nowadays.

AFAIAA they do not do on the spot fines (as in France etc), so if you are caught you will probably get the verbals - unless its serious enough to lock you up and throw away the key   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

Right, think I'm more or less ready for tomorrow now..

I have, to bring with me:

Tools (assorted) with one 22mm crows foot (couldn't find my decent Snap-On one though  s:( :( s:(  ), my biggest breaker bar and a can of PlusGas  s;) ;) s;)  (Not had chance to do mine yet, on the off chance we get to my car.. didn't think spraying it onto the red hot exhaust tonight would be a good plan  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  )
Beer - budweiser (sorry, it was cheap  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  )
Bottles of diet coke for non drinkers

What am I forgetting?

Oh yeah.. me!  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:

Now I just have to remember to actually pick everything up in the morning..

we did, but put it this way, it's 01:30 and i've just walked in the door!, Steve's was the preverviable disaster and we ended up gutting it on the engine! took 5-6hrs approx with a lot curseing, swearing and scratching of heads  s:? :? s:?

Yep and Aaron's just left, and I'm going to bed.

Steve's was an absolute git, same issue as Comers but even less accessible.

Thanks to Aaron and Stu for sticking around to the bitter end, and for Stu doing the very unpleasant task of gutting the precats from underneath.

photos of the head to toe condom he wore while doing it will no doubt be up for all to see soon.

Mental note allowing for problems like we had today I think 6 is a more manageable number in future.
