I love this car. That brake/suspension setup is so lovely. Exactly what I want. Kudos on the progress, it looks great!

Looking really good and credit to you.

Ha! Wish I could! Until my roll hoop is welded in, I don't have anywhere to secure my belts which means no MOT  s:( :( s:(
Have you got any pictures of the roll hoop? And where do you plan to weld it in? Would love a functional one that works with the soft top!

Hi, unfortunately if you want to keep the soft top and have a "proper" roll hoop, the only option is a hard dog from the states.
Ive removed my soft top and the roll hoop is the rear section of the race car full cage, so is designed for hardtop use.

There are some pics a page or so back

That looks awesome. How much to put a 2gr in mine?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Looks very nice!
Much effort required to get it looking like that? I've contemplated it but never plunged in to tart my engine up properly!

I hope so! It was pretty good last year with the mostly standard suspension and 1zz engine so I can't wait to drive it this year, it's going to be very different and much faster round a track!

New R888r - very interesting. Thanks for the link.

It looks like I'll be able to get 205 and 225 fitment too which is great news.

I measured my rear tyres still have 3.5mm of depth so I don't need any straight away. Hopefully by the time they are in stock I will be in the market!

Interesting tread pattern

All looks good, they boast about improving all aspects of the tyres performance, my 888's started life with about 5. I think they should run well into slicks but im not 100%

I'm looking forward to trying these. Certain championship have moved over to Avon ZZR's in place of the 888's over the last 12/15 months and they are claiming better laptimes, it'll be really interesting to see if the new R888 is improved.

By Nov 2016 all new car tyres sold in the EU must comply with these new requirements:  m http://www.etrma.org/tyres/type-approva ... s-detailed m

This sets limits on tyre noise, wet grip and efficiency so it looks like Toyo are just tweaking their tyres to comply.

It is a big selling point with them being road legal. I could upset the tyre police atm as im running 3 17inch wheels and 1 15inch with r888 on it haha.
